Roseline

Roseline (20 years old) is a patient brought to the Fistula Care Centre in Madagascar by Baptistine who is a midwife from Tsaratanana. She had suffered with a fistula for five years as she had never had the courage to go to the Doctor because she was ashamed of her disease thinking it wasn’t common.

During these times, she didn’t spend time with her friends and endured the stigma. Her family also rejected her except for her husband who always supported her.

Roseline came to the clinic, her surgery was successful and she returned home healed in November of 2022.
