Ralina

Ralina (17) from Mahanoro was a very vulnerable patient who arrived at our Fistula Care Centre in Madagascar with her mother and little brother.

Ralina was suffering with an obstetric fistula and drop foot due to her disease. During her recovery from surgery our nurses helped Ralina with short walks every day and like her little brother who took his first steps in our clinic and is now able to run everywhere, Ralina is free from fistula and able to walk too!

What a great news! The two have learned to walk here at Freedom from Fistula Madagascar and are happy.
